CEO, Partner
Brett Bogert was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK. Brett, being the 3rd generation of Bogerts in the Oil and Gas Industry, has been in and around the business his entire life. Brett is the grandson of Richard “Dick” Bogert, founder of the Bogert Oil Company and Bogo Energy Corporation. Brett’s father, Andy Bogert, is currently the President of Bogo Energy and previously served as Vice President for the Bogert Oil Company. Brett currently sits on the board of Bogo Energy. Prior to founding Bogert Energy Partners, Brett worked as a Landman for a well known Oklahoma City brokerage before returning to work with his family at Bogo Energy Corp. In his spare time Brett enjoys serving as the Head Football Coach at Heritage Hall High School.
COO, Partner
Pope Van Cleef III was born and raised in Oklahoma City. Over the last 4 years Pope has served as Co-Founder and COO of Bogert Energy Partners. During this time Pope has led all acquisition efforts on behalf of Bogert Energy Partners and its related entities. To date, Pope has been involved in the deployment of approximately $7,000,000 towards acquisition of +/-2,500 net royalty acres across Oklahoma and New Mexico on behalf Bogert Energy Partners and its related entities. Pope is a proud husband and father and in his free time enjoys spending time with his wife Colbie, 8 year old son Pope IV and 2 year old daughter Janie Joy. Additionally, Pope is proud to currently serve as the head coach for the Crossings 9 year old baseball team.
Chief Development Officer
Russ Koch is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City. Over the past roughly 30 years he has served in numerous sales and sales leadership positions in the technology space, most recently serving as a managing partner for one of Oklahoma City’s first Data Center providers. Russ has remained in the sales organization post acquisition as that organization grew to one of the countries largest data center providers, spending a large amount of time in the Energy vertical working some of the nations largest Oil and Gas Companies. Russ has been married to his wife Mary Anne for 27 years and has three daughters (Callie, Mackenzie and Katie). Russ has been an assistant Football Coach at his former High School, Heritage Hall, since 2013. Additionally, Russ has served on numerous charity boards through his career.
